Out of School Clubs
St. John’s Church, Forest Glade operates a Breakfast and After Schools Club for children between the ages of 4 and 11. Both the clubs are registered with Ofsted.
Breakfast Club
Opening Times: 7.30 – 8.45 am
Cost per morning:
£3.00 per child for 7.30 am start
£2.50 per child for 8.00 am start
Children are offered a range of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, toast with various spreads, plus orange, water or milk to drink. Breakfast will only be served until 8.15 am. Children are then taken to Great Berry or Lincewood School.
Each morning there is a variety of activities. Activities include: Physical Games, ICT, Art, Music and Dance, Literacy & Board Games.
After Schools Club
Opening Times: 3.15 – 6.00 pm
Cost:
£3.00 per child (3.15 – 4.00 pm)
£6.00 per child (3.15 –5.00 pm)
£8.00 per child (3.15 -6.00 pm)
Children will be picked up from Great Berry or Lincewood School and will be taken to St. John’s. On arrival children will be offered a small snack (e.g. drink and fruit/corn snacks).
Children will then be offered a variety of activities and we will also run a homework/reading time.
All children who stay after 5.00 pm will be given a meal. (A menu will be provided).
Fees are required half-termly in advance, and are non-refundable.
£2.00 is required per child as a non-refundable deposit for every child joining the Out of Schools Clubs (either the Breakfast or After School Club).
There will be 3-4 Members of Staff per morning or afternoon, there is at least one first-aider and other members of staff have the required qualifications. All are CRB checked.
Both the Breakfast Club and After School Club can be used on an occasional basis, but your child will need to be registered.
